Ever wanted a behind-the-scenes look into an artist’s practice? Engage in discussion and watch them create works in a variety of media in the Making Space. Then stick around and create your own work of art.
Trey Duvall’s work concerns entropy, futility, humor, duration, stamina, and exhaustion. His creative practice includes various forms of large-scale installation, video, performance, and other sculptural and organizational mediums. In addition to site specific installation and performances, Duvall’s work has been recently exhibited at Rice University, Houston; Triumph Gallery, Chicago; Galerie des Beaux-Artes de Nantes, France; Lawndale Art Center, Houston; Art League Houston; School of Visual Arts, New York; and Plot Manifest, Marfa. His work has been featured on ABC News, the Houston Chronicle, and Art In America. Duvall received his Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of Houston, and is currently an artist in residence at RedLine Contemporary Art Center in Denver and acting Director/Curator at SITE Gallery Houston.
