Center for the Future of Museums
American Alliance of Museums

Clyfford Still Museum keynotes invite curators, art historians, cultural theorists and other luminaries to present on a special topic related to key concerns in the fields of art, history, culture, and museums. This season, join Elizabeth Merritt for a guided tour of the themes of TrendsWatch 2017: Empathy, Criminal Justice Reform, Artificial Intelligence, Migration and Refugees, and Failing Forward (aka Agile Design). This talk explores the significance of these trends for society; for museums and the communities they serve; and examples of museums innovating around these challenges.
