If you enjoy thoughtful films that spark lively conversation and satisfy both your intellect and your heart, then welcome home. The visceral power of visual art meets the narrative depth of cinema in film/Still, a program created to present groundbreaking films that address an array of themes about art and the human experience.

Denver-based animator, filmmaker, and curator Lares Feliciano has selected a number of animated shorts that illustrate moments in the history of experimental animation. Demonstrating the vastness of animation beyond cartoons and claymation, these films span the 1920s to today. Feliciano will lead a discussion following the films.
