If you enjoy thoughtful films that spark lively conversation and satisfy both your intellect and your heart, then welcome home. The visceral power of visual art meets the narrative depth of cinema in film/Still, the critically acclaimed partnership between the Clyfford Still Museum and Alamo Drafthouse Cinema created to present groundbreaking films that address an array of themes about art and the human experience.

The Wind Will Carry Us (Abbas Kiarostami, 1999, 1 hour, 58 minutes)
Denver-based artist Laleh Mehran will facilitate a discussion following the screening.

Iranian director Abbas Kiarostami creates dialogue among the formal elements of color, movement, and abstract topography in his 1999 film The Wind Will Carry Us. Sweeping panoramas and methodical pacing force a deep consideration of the essence of human existence throughout the landscapes.
