All Day Activities (10:00-4:00):
• Artmaking in the Forecourt: Create DIY slap bracelets and Clyfford-Still inspired hats and pins to show off your creativity.
• Face painting: Turn yourself into a Still-inspired masterpiece!
• The Making Space: Visit our interactive gallery to create your own artwork, make an artist trading card, or play with Still-inspired games and puzzles.
• Bring a picnic! Find some green space in the city and relax on the Museum’s lawn while soaking up the summer sun.

Storytime with Denver Public Library.
Clyfford Still was a radical artist who challenged the rules and expectations of traditional painting while sticking to his own unique vision. Join us to enjoy books that explore the themes of rule-breaking and staying true to yourself.

Performance by El Sistema Colorado
El Sistema Colorado focuses on using music for social change in the Globeville neighborhood. Their mission is to empower children by providing an intensive music program that teaches the importance of teamwork, promotes self-confidence, and instills the value of social responsibility.

For Family Day, El Sistema Colorado is bringing together nine of their highest achieving students along with two teachers to perform six musical selections from various musical styles specially arranged for this occasion. Join us in the galleries for this exciting musical performance. Selections include Mario Bros., Bach, American and Irish folk tunes, and popular songs.
