Lawn Concert: Dressy Bessy
Hailed by Westword as the “Best Museum for Music Lovers”, the Clyfford Still Museum brings you a summer to remember!
We close our Summer Lawn Concert season with Denver’s own Dressy Bessy. Nearly 20 years into their Indie rock journey, Dressy Bessy continues to pursue joy and transcendence with effervescent, uplifting pop tunes. According to Yep Roc Records, the band has an uncanny ability to wrap subversive lyrics in “sparkling, irresistibly catchy songcraft.” Says frontwoman Tammy Ealom: “Sometimes we feel like we should have been around in the ’60s, when bands weren’t afraid to look like they were enjoying themselves.”
Presented in partnership with Swallow Hill Music. Gourmet sausages from Biker Jim’s, vegetarian fare, beer, and wine from Leven Deli, and Peteybird ice cream sandwiches will be available for purchase.
