Join director Dean Sobel for a once-in-a-lifetime adventure throughout the Persian Gulf region, with stops in Doha, Qatar and Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates.

The trip begins in Dubai, exploring a wide range of both historic and ultra-modern architecture, including Burj Khalifa, modern and contemporary art centers and private collections, and Alserka Avenue, the industrial arts district home to multiple design studios, private museums, and art foundations. Moving on to Abu Dhabi, a true highlight of the trip, guests will spend an afternoon taking in the new Louvre Abu Dhabi and the temporary exhibition site of the upcoming Guggenheim Abu Dhabi. The trip will finish in Doha, Qatar with visits to I.M. Pei’s Museum of Islamic Art, The Pearl, and in the deep desert only accessed by 4-wheel drive, Richard Serra’s site-specific sculptural installation East-West/West-East.
