Art Crawl: Messy Art Making Part 3 – Printmaking

Wed, Aug 23, 2023 10:30 - 11:15 AM MDT

Venue : Clyfford Still Museum

Export to : iCal, Google

Category: Family Programs,

The Clyfford Still Museum is a great place for you and your baby to experience art and find community with other families with infants. A Museum educator will lead caregivers with infants (newborns through 14 months) in a crawl through the galleries. Share the experience of art with your baby and socialize with other caregivers. The August theme is “Messy Art Making Part 3 – Printmaking”

We will be getting out the clay and getting messy outside! We will spend the first half of the program in the galleries exploring textures, followed by time outdoors under our cantilever for clay time! We will provide t-shirt smocks for your baby, but please dress to make a mess. A front-facing carrier is recommended, but not required, for this program.

Space is limited and pre-registration is required (you must purchase a Museum admission ticket or register with your CSM membership during online registration).

Registration will open soon!

Admission: Free for CSM members, $10 adults, $8 seniors (65+), $6 teachers/college students/military, $1 Museums for All/Explorer Pass (with valid EBT card), always free for children ages 17 and under. For programs that require advance registration, Five by Five participants can use the discount code 5×5 during checkout to register online and scan the QR code when they arrive at the Museum for the program.

“I am grateful to have an opportunity to engage with Winnie one-on-one in such a beautiful way. She doesn’t get a lot of solo time with me since she has a three-year-old sister. I want to take advantage of one-on-one time with her whenever I can, and the Art Crawl was a lovely way to spend time together. It was so fun watching her observe and enjoy CSM and learning more from the fantastic team.” – Caitlin, Art Crawl participant
