How do art, history, and biography intersect? What resources are available to promote learning with primary sources? How can you integrate primary sources into almost everything you teach? Join us to find out the answers to these questions and more! Presented in partnership with the Molly Brown House Museum, the American Museum of Western Art, and the Center for Colorado Women’s History, take a five-day dive into primary sources and inquiry-based teaching. Spend time with all four institutions learning about resources and strategies you can take into your classroom. Collaborate with your peer teachers and create lesson plans to explore history, art, and biography.

This program is free and registration is required to attend. Each day will be hosted by a different institution and participants will visit all four sites. Registration includes admission to all institutions and lunch each day. Who should apply: Teachers, Librarians, and Educators in grades 3–6. Applications are now closed.

“There are many ways art can be integrated into all content areas to encourage deep critical and creative thinking.” -Previous participant in CSM teacher professional development
