Member Last Look and Curatorial Tour with Valerie Hellstein

Join us for a members-only last-look experience with Valerie Hellstein, guest curator of Dialogue and Defiance: Clyfford Still and the Abstract Expressionists.

She’ll give us an overview of how she chose paintings for the exhibition, her experience curating the exhibition, and how Dialogue and Defiance ultimately came together. You’ll also have a chance to peek into painting storage to see how the Museum stores Clyfford Still’s works when they’re not in the galleries. Bring your questions and get ready to have a conversation in one of the Museum’s most unique spaces.
