Tours + Groups

College classes and community groups that are interested in visiting in person should email tours@clyffordstillmuseum.org. Groups must follow all current ticketing and visitor policies. For information on current ticketing and visitor policies, click here.

In-person and virtual tours and programs are now available! Custom tours, lectures, workshops, and interactive programs are facilitated by our specially trained team of Museum educators. We would love to work with you on designing a program that meets the needs and interests of your group.

To protect the health and safety of everyone spending time within the Museum, all group visits and tours are limited to no more than 12 persons. This applies to Museum-led and private tours, as well as unguided group visits. Larger groups arriving at the Museum will be divided into subgroups of 12 or fewer persons.

Community + Outreach

Nonprofit organizations that work with underserved communities may request programs at no cost. An underserved community is one in which individuals lack basic access to arts programs due to factors such as geography, economic conditions, ethnic background, or disability. College classrooms visiting with a professor also qualify for free programs.

Public Virtual Tours

Check our Events Calendar for live, thematic virtual tours. These tours have no cost and require advance registration. Watch past virtual tours and other programming anytime on CSM’s YouTube channel!

Private Tours

For adult and college audiences, the Museum offers a range of tours that can be conducted onsite at the Museum or virtually. Led by members of our education or curatorial teams, tours can focus on a variety of topics including the art and life of Clyfford Still, the story of the Clyfford Still Museum, the Museum’s architecture and special exhibitions. The average duration of a tour is 45-60 minutes. To protect the health and safety of everyone spending time within the Museum, all in-person tours and group visits at the Museum are currently limited to no more than 11 persons. This applies to Museum-led and private tours, as well as unguided group visits. Larger groups arriving at the Museum will be divided into subgroups of 12 or fewer persons (including the guide).

For virtual tours online, we can accommodate up to 100 participants. Nonprofit organizations that work with underserved communities may request programs at no cost. To see what this could look like, check out the virtual Curatorial Highlights tour led by our Associate Curator Bailey Placzek.
