Enjoy free hands-on art-making and a movement-based activity for children and their families as the Clyfford Still Museum celebrates the 34th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)!

Stop by the Museum’s outdoor forecourt from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for a for a dance session brought to you by Feel the Beat. Feel the Beat is a Colorado-based 501c3 nonprofit and dance studio dedicated to making the experience of dance and music possible for all including those who are Deaf, Hard of Hearing, as well as those with and without Disabilities. Feel the Beat’s unique mobile bone-conduction vibrational dance floor, delivers the physical dimension of sound, allowing individuals to engage with the beat through vibrations felt and heard.

Alongside dance, enjoy an art-making activity from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.  Visit and learn more about local community organizations that support and uplift people living with disabilities.

These drop-in activities are for all ages and abilities. American Sign Language interpreters will be available. No registration is required.

July 28 is also an SCFD Free Day, so visit the Museum all day from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. for free!

About Feel the Beat

Feel the Beat is a Colorado-based 501c3 nonprofit and dance studio dedicated to making the experience of dance and music possible for all including those who are Deaf, Hard of Hearing, as well as those with and without Disabilities. So much more than a dance studio, Feel the Beat is for all skill levels, ages, and abilities. They use a carefully crafted curriculum that engages students’ senses, strengthens muscle groups, improves coordination, and teaches the fundamentals of music, dance principles, and choreography while connecting to the music through their bone-conduction vibrational dance floor. They offer a variety of class options including weekly classes, private group classes, school programs as well as accessible events.
