June SCFD Free Day and Pride Month Celebration

Free admission from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Art in Action: Mini-Tours at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.

In appreciation of the citizens who support the Scientific and Cultural Facilities District (SCFD) and to support community engagement, the Clyfford Still Museum offers free admission on select days throughout the year. We highly encourage you to reserve your SCFD Free Day tickets in advance. Online registration opens approximately one week before each SCFD Free Day. Walk-ins are welcome!

In addition to free admission and mini-tours, we invite everyone to celebrate Pride Month at the Still with free family-friendly activities, including:

10:30–11:30 a.m. – Drag Storytime with Gila Moonstar in the Museum galleries
11:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m. – Hands-on artmaking with our Learning and Engagement team on the outdoor forecourt
11:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m. –  DJ set with Moon Magnet on the outdoor forecourt
11:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m. – Popsicles for sale by Denver Pops on the outdoor forecourt
All day – Outdoor Shop, bubbles, hula hoops, chalk, and cornhole on the outdoor forecourt

About Art in Action: Mini-Tours

Dive into the world of Clyfford Still on this focused and fun introductory tour! Enjoy two free 30-minute Mini-Tours on every Clyfford Still Museum SCFD Free Day and First Friday Pay-What-You-Wish Day. The Mini-Tours are free, no registration is required, and all ages are welcome. Meet in the Museum lobby!

About Gila Moonstar

Gila Moonstar is an Indonesian-American Denver-based drag queen who strives to serve top-notch entertainment and excellence. Classically trained in music and theatre, Gila has been professionally performing on live stages across the globe. Gila was featured as a contestant on the 2023 Pride Month all-drag-queen episode of NBC’s Weakest Link. She has also been a resident drag queen Diva on the Virgin Voyages ships cruising through the Mediterranean and Caribbean, spreading queer campy excellence for the past two years. Gila has collaborated with notable RuPaul’s Drag Race stars, made her debut with the Colorado Symphony, sang with Thorgy Thor and the Thorchestra at Boettcher Concert Hall, and opened for Latrice Royale at the Aggie Theater. Another career highlight for Gila includes the honor of co-hosting and performing at the International Drag Fest in Helsinki, Finland, in March 2025.

About Moon Magnet

Moon Magnet is Denver’s most trusted kids’ entertainment team. Reed Fox from Moon Magnet has DJ’d everything from club nights and corporate galas to school dances and surreal Baby Raves. He’s thrown a monthly Baby Rave for the past year and a half, and has DJ’d for all ages, from elementary school fundraisers and high school homecomings to continuation ceremonies at Levitt Pavilion, always playing clean, kid-approved tracks.
