Maker Mornings are designed for children from 15 months to eight years old, with siblings of any age welcome. We spend time in the galleries with a librarian from Denver Public Libraries for storytime before entering The Making Space, the hands-on creation studio directly connected to our galleries. We explore various materials, expand our ideas of what it means to create, and express ourselves through art. The open-endedness of this time is intentional, allowing all children to interact with the activities in their own unique ways. We encourage you to observe what your child gravitates towards, ask questions, and get curious. Our current exhibition, “Tell Clyfford I Said ‘Hi,'” is unique in that it features a lot of portraits that Still created. During this session, we’ll observe some portraits in the galleries and then create our own!
No registration is required; walk-ins are welcome. You can drop in at any time during the program. Children 17 and under are always free at the Still.
Admission: Free for CSM members, $15 adults, $13 seniors (65+), $10 teachers/military, $1 Museums for All/Explorer Pass (with valid EBT card), always free for children ages 17 and under.
