About the Performer

Ingrid Avison is an indie-pop artist and grief therapist living in the mountains outside of Boulder with her dog, Olive. She writes of everything from climate change to IUDs, but never expected her life to take a turn toward songwriting. A self-proclaimed late-bloomer, Ingrid spent most of her life believing that songwriting and performing were for other people, meanwhile her inner dreamer longed to be a part of that world. Turns out all she needed was a global pandemic, a devastating break-up, an abdominal surgery, and a psychedelic desert experience to write her debut song, “Time Traveling Cowboy” at the age of 34. Ingrid’s creative floodgates have been open ever since, and she performs throughout Colorado. In a brief time, she’s become a two-time finalist in the Planet Bluegrass Troubadour and Songwriter contests in 2025 and 2026. And Ingrid recently released her new synth pop banger, “The IUD Song,” on May 22. It’s the joyful, subversive, and realistic take on desire and reproductive rights that you didn’t know you needed.
Admission: Free for CSM members, $15 adults, $13 seniors (65+), $10 teachers/military, $1 Museums for All/Explorer Pass (with valid EBT card), always free for children ages 17 and under.
