About The Playground Ensemble
The Playground Ensemble, in residence at Metro State University of Denver, is the Rocky Mountain Region’s premiere new music group. Its members are professional musicians, composers, educators, and fans dedicated to presenting chamber music as a living art form.
In addition to concert seasons featuring the work of recognized composers, The Playground cultivates a thriving local composition community. Friends of Chamber Music is proud to partner with The Playground Ensemble to present exciting outreach programs like the innovative Soundpainting, showing young people that classical music is vibrant, adventurous, and relevant. They work to inspire audiences to not only listen but also create!
NOTE: As part of Mother’s Day, this program will have a hands-on activity for kids.
Presented in collaboration with Friends of Chamber Music.
Admission: Free for CSM members, $15 adults, $13 seniors (65+), $10 teachers/military, $1 Museums for All/Explorer Pass (with valid EBT card), always free for children ages 17 and under.
