About the Still’s Rental Program
The Museum’s world-class architecture features a dense cantilevered structure made of textured cast-in-place concrete and is an iconic backdrop for exquisite events.
All rentals include:
- Access to all nine galleries showing the current exhibition
- Access to The Making Space and outdoor terraces
- Event space on the first floor
- Full or partial access to the Museum Shop, if desired
- Venue manager, custodial, and security support
The Museum accommodates:
- 150 people for a standing reception
- 50 people for a seated dinner
- 34 people for an intimate wedding
- 20 people for a community-building event

Types of Museum Rental Private Events
Full Museum Buyout
Provide your guests with a unique experience at your upcoming holiday party, client appreciation, networking event, birthday dinner, or other special occasion. Rent the entire Museum for up to four hours and enjoy an unforgettable evening among the art surrounded by the Still’s world-class architecture. This offering includes:
- Event space on the first floor
- Galleries open for guests on the second floor
- Access to The Making Space
- Partial access to the Museum Shop, if desired
- Variety of floor plans depending on guest count

Timing: up to four hours Monday–Sunday, 6–10 p.m.

Intimate Micro Wedding
Micro weddings provide you with an intimate wedding day in our beautiful space. Declare your love and commitment surrounded by your closest family and friends in the Still’s exquisite galleries. Then, head downstairs to toast your future in our first-floor event space. This offering includes:
- Ceremony setup in a gallery of your choice, with chairs included
- Separate marriage certificate signing location
- Cocktail party and/or dinner on the first floor
- Access to the entire Museum grounds for wedding photos
- A/V for a slideshow and speeches

Tour + Happy Hour
Enjoy a tour of the galleries, ending with a drink and a bite on the first floor. Perfect for birthdays, client appreciation, networking, or other special occasions. This offering includes:
- Customizable educator-led tour through the current exhibition
- Happy hour spread with beer, wine, and appetizer grazing board
- Full access to the Museum Shop

Timing: 2 hours on Tuesday–Sunday, 4–6 p.m. or 5–7 p.m.

Morning Rental
Experience the Clyfford Still Museum before we open to the public with a highly customizable community- or team-building event. Choose from hands-on creative activities, tours, or even wellness and meditation options to create the perfect morning for you and your guests. This offering includes:
- Customizable educator-led tour through the current exhibition
- Educator-led creative activity
- Guided meditation or wellness activity with one of the Still’s vetted partners
- Continental breakfast with coffee and tea
- Full access to the Museum Shop
- Museum access all day
