Stop by the Museum’s outdoor forecourt from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. to enjoy a hands-on activity as the Clyfford Still Museum celebrates the 35th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)! Join educator Sarah Childers for a fun activity. Participants will use everyday materials to create a homemade balloon rocket. These drop-in activities are for all ages and abilities. American Sign Language interpreters will be available.

Canines Partners of the Rockies
Canine Partners of the Rockies raises, trains, and places highly skilled service dogs with Coloradans with disabilities, enabling them to lead more independent and gratifying lives. They specialize in Facility Intervention Dogs and Mobility Assistance Dogs, who work with populations and individuals, respectively.
Limb Preservation Foundation
The Limb Preservation Foundation provides support and community to those experiencing limb-threatening conditions. They provide hope, help, and possibilities through financial assistance, emotional support, and education. For patients and families in the nine-state Rocky Mountain Region who are facing or experiencing limb loss as a result of tumor, trauma, or infection, they are here to help in a difficult time, allowing you to focus on your healing journey. Sarah Childers leads center-based classrooms for children with autism. In her 15 years as an educator, she has founded multiple self-contained classrooms for students with significant needs. Sarah’s pedagogy is dedicated to facilitating meaningful participation and fostering authentic belonging of children with significant disabilities in their communities. Sarah has developed reverse inclusion programming within schools and established community partnerships with RTD, Rude Rec Center, and the Clyfford Still Museum to create inclusive opportunities for her students. Sarah holds a master’s degree in special education from the University of Maryland and is pursuing her EdD from CU Denver. She is currently teaching at Eagleton Elementary School.
