Join the Clyfford Still Museum for a city-wide celebration of children worldwide during Día del Niño. Enjoy our free family program from 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Stop by the Museum’s Making Space for an art-making activity facilitated by local artist, Mía Madalena. Infants and their caregivers are encouraged to experience art and engage in a provocation in the galleries. Listen to Mariachi Corazón de Oro, a Denver-based youth music group from the Colorado Youth Mariachi Program, perform in the galleries at 12 p.m.
This family program is free, and registration is required.

Mía Madalena is a 16-year-old Denver-based multidisciplinary artist whose work draws on their cultural heritage as a member of the Diné Nation, with connections to the Zia, Jemez, and Cochiti Pueblo communities. Mia’s practice spans a range of artistic forms, including painting, poetry, photography, modeling, and other creative media. Their paintings often incorporate natural and tactile materials such as fur, yarn, animal adornments, rocks, shells, and other elements from the natural world, creating layered works that reflect cultural identity, connection to land, and personal expression.
