At the Clyfford Still Museum you’ll enjoy nine beautiful galleries of Clyfford Still’s art, historic photos and letters from the Clyfford Still Archives, an interactive timeline, dozens of videos and books, a pair of tranquil outdoor terraces, views into our storage and conservation areas, and shopping. We look forward to welcoming you!

Discounts and Promotions

SCFD Free Days

In appreciation of the citizens who support the Scientific and Cultural Facilities District (SCFD), and in the spirit of community engagement, the Clyfford Still Museum offers free admission on select days throughout the year.

Free every Friday from 5 to 8 p.m.

Free all day on the last Friday of every month: In 2018—January 26, February 23, March 30, April 27, May 25, June 29, July 27, August 31, September 28, October 26, November 30, December 28.

Pre-registration is always required for groups of ten or more and field trips/school groups, including on free days.

Complimentary guided tours of the galleries take place at 10:30 am, 11:30 am, 3 pm, and 6:30 pm on these dates. Tours last about 45 minutes and are limited to 30 people. First come, first served!

Underserved community groups may receive free access and tours on regular admission days with advanced scheduling.

MY Denver Card

Accompanying adults with MY Denver Cardholders (one per cardholder) receive free general admission during all weekends and throughout winter, spring, and summer school breaks. (Valid MY Denver Card required; not valid for groups of ten or more or field trips/school groups.) Denver youth ages 5–18 and all DPS students can access recreation centers, pools, and cultural facilities (restrictions apply) at no cost with a MY Denver Card. Get yours today!

Active and Retired Military Personnel

The Clyfford Still Museum offers free admission to retired and active military personnel who have served or are serving in the United States Military – Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard as well as Active Duty and Reservists, National Guardsman (regardless of status), U.S. Public Health Commissioned Corps, NOAA Commissioned Corps, and up to five accompanying family members. Members must show the appropriate ID at the visitors desk to gain admission.

Bank of America – Museums on Us®

With qualifying identification, Bank of America customers can enjoy free admission on the first full weekend of every month through the popular Museums on Us program. To qualify, simply present your active Bank of America, Merrill Lynch or U.S. Trust credit or debit card along with a photo ID to gain one free general admission to the Clyfford Still Museum. Cardholders only; guests are not eligible for free admission.

Things to know when you visit

  • Photography for personal, noncommercial use is allowed in the galleries. Video recordings are permitted only on mobile phones or similarly small recording devices. The use of flash and tripods are not permitted. Review our complete Photo Policy. Apply for a Photo/Video Pass.
  • Free lockers are available to stow bags more than 11 inches by 14 inches.
  • Food and drink are not permitted in the Museum.
  • Sketching in notebooks is permitted in the galleries with pencil only.
