Public Tours

Are you thinking about visiting the Clyfford Still Museum for the first time and aren’t sure what to expect?  Or, has it been a few years since you’ve been here?  The Museum offers public tours every Saturday from 2-3 p.m. included with admission–no reservations required!  Drop-in and join us for tours hosted by our talented and knowledgable CSM staff.

Underserved community groups may receive free tours with advanced scheduling.Additional free tours are offered during our SCFD free days.

The Museum also offers specially themed tours on select dates.  Special tours may include Bilingual Tours, Curatorial Tours, Multisensory Tours, Spark! Gallery Tours, and more.  Check our event page for special public tours to see if a special tour is scheduled on a day you’d like to visit.

Private Tours

Private tours are available by appointment and are conducted by specially trained Museum guides. Select themes and tour types are available upon request. Tours must be requested at least 3 weeks in advance.

Policies and Procedures

Tours are offered Tuesday–Sunday by appointment, between 10:30 am and 3:30 pm, subject to availability.

The average duration of a tour is 45–60 minutes.

Tour groups must have at least 10 people, with a maximum of 30 per group.

Tours require three weeks advanced notice to schedule and are subject to availability.

Upon receipt of your tour request form, a Museum representative will contact you with available tour times, payment information, and other information regarding your visit.

Payment in full is due at the time of your visit. Cash or credit cards are accepted.

In order to qualify for the group rate, all persons in the group must be either adults or seniors. If the group is mixed, the group will be charged the adult group rate.

Guests should arrive as a group 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start of the tour. Tours begin promptly at the stated time of your tour.

Photography for personal, noncommercial use is allowed in the galleries. Video recordings are permitted only on mobile phones or similarly small recording devices. Group Visits without a Tour

Discounted rates are available for adults, seniors, and college students in groups of 10 or more who do not wish to have a Museum-led tour. Reservations are required, and your group visit must be booked at least 3 weeks in advance. For more information, please see our group admission rates.
