At the Sie Film Center

The Club in New York hosted artists, intellectuals, critics, poets, and musicians in the late 1940s and early 1950s. They gathered weekly to hear philosophers and intellectuals present ideas, to debate the current state of painting, and to listen to musicians, poets, and filmmakers share their work.

Our film/Still Summer Series will feature filmmakers and topics from The Club and will include a discussion after the viewing.
