Bye, Bye, Big Blue Scavenger Hunt

Every Saturday and Sunday in July, the Clyfford Still Museum will offer a family-friendly scavenger hunt inside the galleries focused on PH-247, 1951, known affectionately by visitors and staff as “Big Blue.” When the Clyfford Still, Art, and the Young Mind exhibition closes on August 7, the Museum will roll up CSM’s largest and most famous painting and “Big Blue” will go off view for a few years to limit light exposure.

Participate in the scavenger hunt and enter to win a set of 24 Chunkies Paint Sticks, one of our most popular art tools in The Making Space. Pick up a scavenger hunt sheet at the Visitor Services desk during your visit and return the sheet before you leave. The Museum will draw a different prize winner after each weekend. No registration is required.
