New way to discover the Archives online launched, Archives reopens

There’s a new way to discover the Archives online! We invite you to browse our finding aids for an updated overview of our current archival holdings, the most extensive collection of materials related to Clyfford Still.

The Archives have also reopened to onsite researchers! Onsite research in the Archives is by appointment only and scheduled in advance, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday–Friday. Learn how to schedule a visit.

The Clyfford Still Museum Archives contain the most extensive collection of materials related to the life and work of Clyfford Still. Originally compiled by the artist and his family, the Archives offers a rare view into the personal and professional world of the American painter. The Archives includes a variety of primary source materials that illuminate Still’s creative process, relationships, and philosophical approach to art.
